Next up in our ‘Learn To Play’ is Obsession: Pride, Intrigue and Prejudice in Victorian England. We thought it would be the perfect game if you are craving some Bridgerton-vibes with the new season coming!
Obsession is a Victorian estate-builder where social climbing is your main focus. You’re the head of a once-impressive country house, trying to renovate your way back into high society by hosting the right events for the right people.
Across a series of rounds, you’ll draft room and garden tiles that double as action spaces, staff them with butlers, maids, and footmen, and invite gentry over for afternoon tea, balls, and gossip. It’s a mix of deck-building and worker placement where you win by boosting your reputation, wealth, and connections and if you manage to marry well along the way, even better!
Our food and drink menus will be available all evening to keep you fuelled for your adventure 🍔🍹 (We are also a café and restaurant so no outside food or drink is permitted.) Get 20% off our ‘Catan’ Cheeseburger + 1 side by adding it to your event ticket!
Obsession isn’t heavy at all once you get going so come along by yourself or with a friend, we’ll get you together with some likeminded gamers and talk you through the rules to help you get stuck in straight away!
Please arrive for 6:30pm where we’ll have the everything set up for you and then we’ll guide you all through the game.
